You Will Learn To:
- Use critical thinking skills to identify and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities, manage risks, and learn from results
- Understand processes where entrepreneurs with limited resources can transform simple ideas into sustainable success
- Establish personal goals, identify resources, and determine steps to accomplish goals
- Network with other entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial thinkers!
The Kansas Ice House Entrepreneurship Program is a certificate program that develops an entrepreneurial mindset and skills like critical thinking, communication, problem solving, and other key assets crucial for success in business and life. The program combines classroom presentations with video interviews and case studies featuring modern day examples of entrepreneurs who have triumphed over adversity by embracing an entrepreneurial mindset. Each lesson includes discussion topics and assignments that encourage real-world application of the concepts.
Haven's Ice House will be held at Haven High School, starting September 6, 2018, for eight weeks from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. The cost will be $100 for Reno County residents, $150 for non-residents, with option for $50 reimbursement if attendee attends seven out of eight sessions. There will be an attendant limit of twenty-five.
