Haven Police Department wants you to use 911. 

Please do not call or text officers’ cell phones. Call 911; the 911 system was created to make it easy to request police, fire or medical response. The County’s dispatcher will help determine the appropriate response to your call. 

HPD does have an administrative line (620-465-3415), but this number should be used if you wish to speak to an officer about a case, to report any past incidents, as well as to seek information or guidance from department personnel. It should NOT be used to report suspicious activity or crimes in progress where response time is critically important.

When in doubt, simply use 911.
