The Haven Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed update of the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Haven and the extraterritorial jurisdiction in Reno County on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 7:00 PM, City Hall, 120 S. Kansas, Haven, KS.  The proposed update to the Haven Comprehensive Plan is being considered in accordance with KSA 12-741 et seq, and amendments thereto, by the Haven Planning Commission to promote the health, safety, comfort and general welfare of the citizens of Haven, Kansas, and the extraterritorial jurisdiction, and to plan for the future of said area.

Any person wishing to be heard regarding this matter may submit written comments to the Planning Commission prior to or at the public hearing, or may present written and/or oral comments at such public hearing.  All persons wishing to be heard concerning this matter shall be afforded an opportunity to do so.  Upon conclusion of said public hearing, the Planning Commission may make recommendations concerning the adoption of the proposed update to the Haven Comprehensive Plan to the Governing Body of the City of Haven.  The Planning Commission may continue consideration of this matter at the conclusion of the public hearing to a future date without further notice.

A copy of the proposed Haven Comprehensive Plan is available for inspection in the Haven city offices Monday through Friday during normal business hours.  It may also be viewed here.
